The Dreams of Krypnos is an anthropomorphic-fantasy world set on the habitable moon of Elysia. Elysia is inhabited by various animal-like creatures called the Arcadi, who possess their own cultures and civilisations. Spanning thousands of years of history, The Dreams of Krypnos traces the saga of the arcadi from earliest times to the great dynasties of the Bronze Age, the luxurious decadence of the Classical Age, the trials and tribulations of the Floreus Era, culminating in the Space Age, when arcadi took to the cosmic skies. Elysia is a world brimming with magic. In fact, the entire universe (named the Alborax) is the magical manifestation of Krypnos, the mysterious deity who created it.
The Dreams of Krypnos is a personal project intended to serve as a campaign setting for use in table-top roleplaying games. My goals are to write as many campaign books as is humanly possibly, and to have some laughs along the way. I use the BRP Universal Game Engine by Chaosium to run my own unique scenarios set in the world of Elysia. Whilst I don't currently have any aspirations to publish these works in full, I am willing to share illustrations, music, and snippets of lore that I have created along my journey as a writer and worldbuilder.
Music inspired by the world of Elysia for use in my campaign books has been composed by fellow friend and musician Aidan D. Higgs. These can be listened to on Youtube. Please check out Mr Higgs' website and consider supporting him here. We plan to collaborate in the future to compose and release further Elysian-inspired tunes.
Coming soon to the website will be a gallery section, which will include a selection of my illustrations.
